When my wife and I started looking at wedding venues, the idea of barn weddings sounded pretty awesome! Rustic charm, DIY, and beautiful scenery, it sounded amazing, and there are certainly a ton of gorgeous photos out there for inspiration! Turns out, here is a lot less time for DIY in the crazy busy months leading up to your wedding than expected, and sometimes DIY includes food and beverage...which can be done, but we certainly didn't have time to figure that out.
Enter the Barn at Villa Venezia! All charm, beauty, and good vibes, with as much personalization as you'd like without relying on your own sweat equity. In fact, their in-house staging company, Startup Staging at the Barn, does an amazing job of listening to your personalization ideas and incorporating those ideas into a unique and memorable setup. Check out Meagan and Thomas' setup, below, which included multiple items specific to them, such as the champagne wall and personalized honey pot favors table.

Professional staff and beautiful setting
The first thing I noticed as a vendor at The Barn at Villa Venezia was the professionalism of their staff. The day of coordinator immediately found me and introduced herself, then asked pertinent questions about the schedule we were on to try and help facilitate our day. She and I coordinated Meagan and Thomas' day and movements through the rest of the night so that their night was as seamless, comfortable, and happy as possible. Just take a look at the happy and relaxed friends and family in the pictures below! In addition, their in-house catering creates the best food and drinks that all the guests were raving about, from cocktail hour through the end of reception.
The beauty of the Barn at Villa Venezia cannot be understated. It was the perfect backdrop for bridal portraits, couples portraits, family photos, reception photos, and all of the special moments in between. As a photographer, I loved my experience at this spectacular Hudson Valley wedding venue, and it is an amazing option for any couple looking to celebrate their Hudson Valley wedding day in a personalized way.
